Since all of the data contained in this table was provided to us by participating firms and or public documents, REmatrix.com and Salary.com make no representations as to the accuracy of the data. Compensation is constantly changing, some data may have been changed since it was provided for the subsequent reports. Guidelines For Position Matching
To ensure the closest possible match, please read the accompanying capsule position descriptions. If you don't see your position, please advise us as we're willing to expand the service.

In the case of smaller organizations with one senior financial executive or one senior leasing executive, the compensation of these individuals should be reported under Top Financial Executive and Top Leasing Executive categories, respectively even though their titles (Controller or Leasing Manger) might appear to call for a different category.

Chairman/Pres./CEO Normally the highest paid executive, responsible for directing and controlling the overall business activities in accordance with company policies with the objective of providing maximum profit and return on invested capital. $424K
President/COO/GM Normally the second highest paid executive, responsible for the effective operation, production and marketing functions for the company - in certain circumstances, for the finance function. $304K
Exec.VP/Group Exec Reporting to the CEO or the COO, responsible for directing two or more major Divisional/Regional Profit Centers. Is accountable on a profit and loss basis for the performance the Group.  Collecting
Reg./Divisional Exec. Generally reports to the COO or a Group Executive and may be known as a Divisional President or Regional VP. Has overall responsibility for the company's operations, revenues and costs in a geographic area which could be by region or urban market specific.  Collecting
Corporate Secretary Acts as Secretary of the corporation in accordance with legal requirements. responsible for arranging and keeping the minutes of meetings for the Board of Directors and Shareholders. $156K
Top Corporate Planner Responsible for coordinating the development of short and long range business plans for the organization to ensure best use of its resources in achieving growth and profitability objectives. Collecting
Top PR/Corporate Affairs Responsible for developing and administering public relations programs aimed at the public, stockholders, employees, government ant industry groups for the organization. Top Corporate Auditor Responsible for protecting the shareholders' interests by ensuring the correct procedures for financial and management reporting are followed. Investigate and protects the company's interests in joint-ventures, performs spot audits on wholly-owned income properties and development projects, and identifies areas of potential increased effectiveness. $135K
Top Legal Executive Responsible for directing and coordinating the organization's legal activities so as to protect its interests from a legal standpoint. $214K
Top Human Resource (1) Reports to the company's top executive. Is responsible for the organization's human resource department having corporate planning responsibility for establishing policies, programs and procedures which maximize the utilization of the company's human resources. Overseer of recruitment, negotiation and administration of executive employment contracts. Responsible for negotiations and administration of the company's collective agreements with its employees' bargaining units. $145K
